LAURA EDMUNDS

laura edmunds is concerned with the temporal, ambiguity + melancholy which manifests itself through her approach to drawing. reflecting on the idea that we attempt to control existence by creating structures + boundaries, edmunds alludes to this collective inner turmoil through drawing. her work considers temporality, the body + bodies and the discreet. considering the drawn mark as a method of searching for meaning, she is concerned with the ability to communicate liminality, ambiguity + ambivalence
