sue williams was born in cornwall + has lived and made her career in wales over the last twenty years
williams is a prominent artist with a recognised body of work + an exhibition history of both solo + group shows on five continents. the work is raw + accomplished; strong, charged + challenging in its links to contemporary lives + the sexualisation of western society. williams continues to explore + challenge the fantasies of feminism, sexuality, gender + culture in her work, in doing so she offers her passionate + direct response to the complex world of human frailty
