Fel rhan o’r comisiwn rhoddwyd ‘haul’ perspex oren ar sil ffenest uchel yr oriel, a yno y mae hyd hyn, yn cael ei danio gan olau’r haul a thaflu gwawr oren llachar sy’n teithio o amgylch y gofod wrth i’r haul fynd ar ei thaith. Dyma fersiynnau bach i roi ar sil ffenest i fachu ar - a bathu yng - ngolau’r haul.

Rebecca Wyn Kelly is an environment and land artist from West Wales. Back in 2022, Wyn Kelly was the first artist commissioned to create a gallery baner. An ode to sunsets, Kelly’s site-responsive and text-based artwork invited us to stand in sacred activism and hiraethu for memorable sunsets of the past. A sister-flag was raised above Aberarth beach in Ceredigion [Wyn Kelly’s home] - the rural and the urban settings in complete contrast, yet under the same sun
As part of that commission, a perspex ‘sun’ was placed on a high windowsill in the gallery, and there it remains, activated by the sunlight, casting an orange glow which travels around the gallery space as the sun traces it’s path. These are mini versions, made to be placed on windowsills to be activated by - and project - sunlight
